Terms of use

Private beta documentThis version supports controlled beta consent but still requires professional legal review before unrestricted public registration.

Version beta-2026-08-03 · Effective 18 August 2026

These draft terms describe the intended rules for using the Jerno private beta. A legally reviewed version and final operator details will replace them before a full public launch.

1. Service purpose

Jerno is a personal journaling and retrospective analysis tool. It records user-provided reasoning and may link it with broker-confirmed executions, market context and performance calculations. It does not execute trades, control broker accounts or recommend instruments, positions or timing.

2. Beta access and eligibility

Beta access may be limited, changed or withdrawn while the product is being tested. You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms and comply with the rules of your broker, trading platform and local jurisdiction. The final minimum age will be confirmed before launch.

3. Your account

You are responsible for accurate registration details, protecting your sign-in credentials and activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share broker passwords, private API secrets or one-time bridge tokens with support.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload unlawful content, reverse engineer protected integrations or use the product to violate broker, exchange, market-data or third-party terms.

5. AI-generated suggestions

Transcripts, structured fields, classifications and reviews created with AI may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for checking symbols, direction, quantity, prices, dates, calculations and chart annotations before relying on them as your record.

6. Broker integrations

Supported connections are designed to read confirmed execution information only. Jerno cannot place, modify or cancel orders. Provider availability varies, and you remain responsible for verifying every imported fill and P&L result against the official broker statement.

7. Market data and charts

Data status may be displayed as demo, historical, delayed or real time. Demo candles are synthetic. Availability, accuracy and permitted use of external market data depend on the configured provider and its terms. Charts provide context and do not confirm that an order was filled.

8. Your content and product rights

You retain responsibility for the journal content you submit. You grant the service the limited permission needed to store, process and display it for you. Jerno, its interface and product materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

9. Availability, export and deletion

Beta functionality may change and uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Keep exports appropriate to your needs. You may delete recordings, entries or your account, subject to limited infrastructure backup retention described in the Privacy notice.

10. No financial advice

Nothing in Jerno is financial, investment, tax or legal advice, a trading signal or a promise of profitability. Trading can result in substantial loss, and every trading decision remains yours.

11. Liability

The final terms will set out legally reviewed limitations and exclusions. During beta, do not rely on Jerno as the sole record of an order, fill, balance, tax position or regulatory obligation.

12. Governing law and contact

The intended governing law is England and Wales (to be confirmed before public launch). This remains subject to legal review. Questions can be sent to the Jerno support contact.
